Jacob H. Carper
Jacob H. Carper, 90, died at the Rest Haven Nursing Home Saturday morning.
The son of Henry and Mary (Roberts) Carper, he was born Jan. 20, 1869 in Henry county. On Oct. 6, 1898 he was married to Sarah Throckmarten in Columbus, Kan.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. L. M. Nelson of West Burlington and four grandchildren.
Mr.Carper was a 50-year Mason and a member of Adonoriam Lodge at Wayland.
Services will be held at the R. K. Crane Home Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery.
