Geneva F. Hollander

Genevea F. Hollander, 96, died at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 1992, at Parkview Care Center.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery at Hillsboro. Visitation is open and family visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to Parkview Care Center Activity Fund.

Miss Hollander was born Aug. 16, 1895, on a farm east of Fairfield, the daughter of Elmer and Anna T. Jacobson Hollander. The oldest of eight children, she attended Jefferson County schools and spent most of her life in Van Buren and Jefferson counties. She was co-manager of Plummer Lumber Co. in Hillsboro for most of her adult life and was a member of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are a sister, Bernice Foster of Gaithersburg, Md.; seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Hubert Hollander and five sisters, Myrtle Emry, Anna Belle Crenshaw, Mildred Shott, Gertrude and Frances. The latter two died in infancy.
