Friday, August 10, 1979Perrenoud dies at 65
Kenneth William Perrenoud, 65, 809 W. Kirkwood, died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been hospitalized since March.
Services will be held Sunday, August 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Kermit Black. Interment will be in Winfield Cemetery. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Saturday evening 7 to 8 p.m.
Perrenoud was born November 23, 1913 at Winfield the son of Albert and Stella Lyman Perrenoud. He was reared and educated at Winfield. He married Leila Watson, November 27, 1937 in Davenport. They moved to Fairfield in 1937.
Surviving besides his wife are two children: Alice Diehl of Waterloo and Bill Perrenoud of Newton; two grandchildren; two brothers, John and Fred, both of Winfield and three sisters: Myrtle Ragan, Peoria, Ill.; Lucille Hilding, Perry; and Ella Mae Fricke, Mount Union. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
He was a veteran of World War II, member of Presbyterian Church and the American Legion. He was employed as a patternmaker at Iowa Malleable Iron for 41 years, retiring May 17, 1978.
