LOCKRIDGE - Otis H. Leffler, 76, of Lockridge, died Wednesday at Henry County Health Center.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Weir-Cookes Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. The Rev. Lenwood Monte will officiate. Burial will be in Salem East Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. Memorials are to the Heart Fund or Cancer Fund.
Leffler was born June 26, 1901 in Washington County, the son of George and Nellie Houseal Leffler.
On May 21, 1931, he was married to Ruth O. McVey. He farmed in Henry County for 42 years until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Ronald E. Leffler, Fulton, Ill., and Kenneth E. Leffler, San Marcos, Calif.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur Leffler, Burlington, William Leffler, Columbus Junction and Homer Leffler, Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, LaVerne Duncan, Muscatine, Lorraine Humble, Cedar Rapids and Bessie Hanft, Charleston, Ill.
