P. Jennings Rites Set

Services will be in Fairfield Tuesday for Mrs. Pearl O. Jennings, 83, former Fairfield resident who died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa. She had been in failing health the past year.

Rites Tuesday will be at 1 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. John Wilken officiating. Burial will be in Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home tonight, Monday, from 7 to 8 p.m.

Pearl O. Jennings was born Sept. 10, 1893, in rural Louisa Co. She was the daughter of Peter A. and Anna L. Casten Anderson.

She was married Jan. 1, 1913, to Frank E. Jennings. He died Nov. 18, 1948. Mrs. Jennings had made her home in Ottumwa for the past 12 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Fairfield.

Survivors include one son, Arnold E. Jennings, Ottumwa; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Johansmeier, Ottumwa, and Mrs. Irene Hanks, Winfield; three brothers, Charles Anderson, Columbus Junction; and Herman and Ted Anderson, both of Winfield.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
