NEW LONDON - Harry E. Olson, 92, of New London Care Center, died there Saturday morning.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Salina Cemetery northeast of Fairfield with the Rev. Lenwood Monte officiating. Friends may call as they desire at Weir Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.

Olson was born Nov. 16, 1894 at Henderson Grove, Ill., the son of Carl P. and Hilma Anderson Olson. In January 1918, he married Elenore Hilligoss, who died June 4, 1986. He was a retired farmer and a member of Swedish Lutheran Church at Henderson Grove, Ill.

Surviving are three sons, Richard H. of Lake Elsinor, Calif., Charles W. of Monitor, Wash., Gene W. of New London; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Smith of Brimfield, Ill. An infant daughter, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.
