Florence Agnes Willits, 78, of West View Care Center in Indianola, died Wednesday, December 1, after a long illness. Funeral services were Saturday, December 4 at the Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with John W. Long officiating. Interment was in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Florence Horton Willits was born February 2, 1898 in Brighton, the daughter of Avery and Myrtle Robison Horton. She was united in marriage to Glen Willits February 1, 1921. He preceded her in death in 1970. She was a member of Trinity United Presbysterian Church and a 60 year member of P.E.O.

Mrs. Willits is survived by one son, Theodore of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Maynard and Ms. Elon (Geraldine) Wilkerson of Indianola, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving one sister, Mrs. Frank (Mildred) Gibson of Osceola and three brothers, Leland Horton and Willis Horton of Brighton and Theordore Horton of Eau Clair, Wisconsin.

Casket bearers were Mike Wilkerson, Jeff Wilkerson, Jay Wilkerson, Fred Staude, Jim Willits and John Willits.
