Mrs. SIMMONS rites Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Virgil SIMMONS of New London, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Pleasant in charge of Rev. Alton Koch. Interment will be in New Sweden Cemetery.

Anna SIMMONS was born April 9, 1909 in Jefferson County and was raised in the Lockridge community. Her parents were Theodore and Augusta LUEDTKE.

Surviving are her husband, three children: Edna SCULLY of Ottumwa; Raymond ANDERSON, Champaign, Ill.; and Dean ANDERSON of New London and nine grandchildren.

She also leaves two brothers, August LUEDTKE, route 4, Fairfield; Martin LUEDTKE, New London and two sisters: Elsie and Helen LUEDTKE, both of Fairfield.
