Mrs. HUNTER Rites Held

MOUNT PLEASANT - Funeral services for Bessie Mae HUNTER, 82, were held Wednesday at Beatty-Jennings Crane Funeral Home here. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery. Mrs. HUNTER died Sunday at Maple Leaf Care Center.

Mrs. HUNTER was born Dec. 3, 1894 near Mount Pleasant, the daughter of Macey and Minnie HUMMELL HOCKETT. She married Mark HUNTER Dec. 2, 1915. He preceded her in death Feb. 21, 1948.

Survivors include a son, Raymond of Lockridge; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and four sisters.
