J.B. LEISENRING DIED THIS MORNING - AFTER A BRIEF ILLNESS.
Was a Photographer For Many Years and Had a Very Wide Acquaintance in Southeastern Iowa.

J.B. Leisenring died at 2:45 o'clock this morning at the home of his brother-in-law, W.E. Tomlinson, No. 814 Ash Street. The deceased was a photographer of a great many years' experience and was very extensively known throughout southeastern Iowa.

His home for many years was in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and he is survived by a wife and son, George, who still reside there. He was widely known in Burlington and several years ago was one of the proprietors of the Burlington Candy Company, succeeding C. Hornung in that business.

He was born in Union Corner, Pa., and was 63 years of age. He suffered a paralytic stroke while in Ohio some months ago and his health had not been good since. He returned from Ohio to Burlington last April and has since made his home with Mr. Tomlinson. He was attacked on Thursday with a form of bilious trouble and his weakened physical condition made his recovery impossible. His last illness was of short duration and his many friends here will learn with surprise and with the greatest regret of his sudden death.

The remains will be taken to Mt. Pleasant tomorrow evening and funeral services will be held in that city at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
