MRS. LEISENRING CLAIMED BY DEATH
Local Woman Stricken Tuesday Evening; Victim of Heat

Mrs. Lillie Leisenring, 71 years old, died this morning about 11:30 at the Memorial hospital after a brief illness. Her death was attributed largely to the heat.

Mrs. Leisenring, who had not been well, became suddenly worse about 10 o'clock Tuesday evening. She was taken to the Memorial hospital this morning at 10 o'clock.

She is survived by four sisters, Miss Lou Spahr of this city, Mrs. William Donahue of California, Mrs. George Bird of Davenport and Mrs. Minnie Ailworth of Chicago, and by a brother, Sam Spahr of this city.

The funeral services will be held Friday and will be private.
