MT. PLEASANT - Mrs. Elsie Barnett Bouge, 81, Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Nov. 29, at the New London Care Center.
She was born Aug. 26, 1900, at Keosauqua to Alonzo and Celia Anson Poole. She married Jim Barnett in 1918. He died in 1941. She married Harry Bouge Sept. 16, 1944. He died in 1964.
Surviving: two sons, Dale Barnett, Mt. Pleasant, Carl Barnett, Ft. Madison; five grandchildren, nine great-children.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday, Beatty Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, the Rev. Bill Holbrook; Salem East Cemetery.
