Mrs. Fred Waters

Mrs. Fred (Nora Elizabeth) Waters, died about 12:20 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Holland Nursing Home at the age of 90.

She was born September 12, 1880, at New London, the daughter of George and Belle Ferrell Pricket. On Dec. 20, 1899, in New London, she was married to Thomas Fred Waters, who died Aug. 8, 1965.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a life member of the DAR.

Mrs. Waters is survived by the following sons: Joseph A. and John A., both of San Fernando, Calif., Roger F., Portland, Ore., Philo W., Ft. Worth, Texas, Howard of Danville and Ross E. Waters of Mt. Pleasant; three daughters, Mrs. Rolly (Pauline) Nutsford of San Fernando, Calif., Mrs. Fred (Winifred) Harris of Jacksonville, Ill., and Mrs. Richard (Elizabeth) Novak of St. Louis, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren, two brothers, Ira Prickett of Mt. Pleasant and Ferrell Prickett of Saskatoo, Canada, two sisters, Mrs. Luvilla Rither of Apopka, Fla. and Mrs. Melva Baker of Downers Grove, Ill.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 2:30 p.m. at the Weir-Cookes Funeral Home. Dr. Carl Wilson will officiate.

Interment will be at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call as they desire and those who wish may contribute to a memorial to the First United Methodist Church.
