Neville Wiggins

Neville H. Wiggins, 61, of Route 3, Mount Pleasant, died at 4:10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 1988, at the Henry County Health Center.

Born June 24, 1926, at Mount Pleasant, he was the son of LeRoy and Mary Hockett Wiggins. On July 17, 1965, at Kahoka, Mo., he married Rosie Sammons.

He had been employed as a fireman for the City Light Plant.

Surviving are his Wife, Rosie; his mother, Mary Wiggins, Parkview Home, Wayland; four daughters, Mrs. Loriann (Timothy) Dameron, Mount Pleasant, Mrs. Tammy (Brian) Schultz, Rome, Barbara Wiggins and Cheryl Wiggins, both at Neville Wiggins home; two sons, Neville L. Wiggins and Darrel Wiggins, both at home; one brother, Macy Dale Wiggins, Trenton; and three granddaughters.

Visitation will begin after 1 p.m. Saturday at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The service for Mr. Wiggins will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Hembry officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the American Lung Association.
