Mrs. Howard Watts Taken By Death

Mrs. Howard Watts, 67, died about 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, following a long illness.

Bessie Beulah Watts, the daughter of John A. and Rosabelle (Allender) Scarff was born November 17, 1899 in Henry co., IA. She was a lifelong resident of Henry county and Mt. Pleasant.

Surviving are her husband, Howard Watts of Mt. Pleasant; one daughter, Mrs. Willis Graber of Rte. 2, Wayland; one brother, Merle Scarff of Mt. Pleasant; 7 grandchildren.

One son, Harold, three sisters, one brother and one grandson preceded her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, at 2 p.m. at the R. K. Crane Funeral Home. The Rev. Glen Richard, pastor of the Pleasant View Mennonite Church will officiate.

Friends may call at the R. K. Crane Funeral Home as they desire.
