Mrs. Etta Seitz Taken By Death

Mrs. Etta Mae Seitz, 73, passed away Tuesday at 3 a.m. She was born June 19, 1880 in Henry county, the daughter of John Francis Shumaker and Mary Catherine Scarff.

She was married in 1906 in Burlington to Frank Seitz. For the past twenty years she had resided south of Mt. Pleasant.

Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Francis J. Seitz of Des Moines, John Max Seitz of Keokuk, Mrs. E. Gladys Barker of Pleasantville, Mrs. Mary L. Marshall of Green River, Wyo., and eleven grandchildren. Five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Seitz was a member of the Methodist church.

Services are pending the arrival of one of her sons-in-law. The body was taken to the Cookes-Lunning Home.
