Mrs. Georgia Scarff

Mrs. Homer (Georgia) Scarff, 81, Rome, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 1986 at 5:30 a.m. at her home.

She was born Aug. 26, 1905 at Coppock, the daughter of George and Nancy Moore, Coppock. She was married Dec. 20, 1922 at Trenton to Homer Miller Scarff. She was a member of the Green Mound church of God and a former employee of the IAAP and the 34 Grill.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. George (Donna) Ensminger, Rome, and Mrs. Sherman (Bette) Watson, Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Wiggins and Mrs. Eva Wiggins, both of Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Trenton Missionary Church, the Rev. Alfred Dietz, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home.

A memorial to the White Oak Church has been established.
