Glenn E. Scarff

Glenn Edward Scarff, 86, of Lake Ozark, Mo., formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, March 26, at Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, Fla.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach, Mo. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Chuck Phillips officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 31, at Forest Home Cemetery, with military honors.

A memorial has been established for the Glenn Scarff Memorial Fund. Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia, Mo., is directing arrangements; online condolences may be sent at www.rekusfuneralhomes.com.

He was born Feb. 27, 1922, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Leslie and Freda Bates Scarff. On June 17, 1944, he married Delores Lorene Rich in Portland, Ore.

He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church in Osage, Mo.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Gloria Long of Belen, N.M., and Glenda Russell of Ashdown, Ark.; one son, Edward Scarff of Lake Ozark, Mo.; two sisters, Evelyn Graber of Wooster, Ohio, and Bernice Callis of Marceline, Mo.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

His parents and brother Raymond Scarff preceded him in death.
