Mildred Rogers, 62, of 200 Exchange St., Mount Pleasant, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, at the Henry County Health Center.
She was born Dec. 1, 1923, in the White Oak area of Henry County, to Frank M. and Clarice E. Kleinhaus Fitch. She married William N. Rogers in Mount Pleasant; he died in September 1950.
She was a retired homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mount Pleasant.
Surviving are one daughter, Connie Barnes, Fort Madison; three grandsons; one great grandchild; two brothers, James 0. Fitch of Pico Rivera, Calif., and Morris E. Fitch, Mount Pleasant; and one sister, Deloris Poss, Ostell, Ga.
Friends may call as they desire, beginning at noon Sunday at the Weir Funeral Home.
Services for Mrs. Rogers will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at the Weir Funeral Home with the Rev. George White officiating. Burial will be held in the Forest Home Cemetery, Mount Pleasant.
