Kathryn F. Prottsman, 84, of Mount Pleasant, died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 1989, at the Henry County Health Center, Mount Pleasant.
Born Sept. 24, 1904, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Louis and Josephine Reid Pardall. She married Harry E. Prottsman Dec. 18, 1929. He died July 27, 1988.
She was a member of the Congregational Universalist Church, Mount Pleasant, and was a charter member of the Women of the Moose, Mount Pleasant. She was a graduate of Donnellson High School.
Surviving are two sons, James Harry Prottsman and Louis Eugene Prottsman, both of Mount Pleasant; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant.
The service for Mrs. Prottsman will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Charles Tweed officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Wellness Center of Mount Pleasant.
