Harry E. Prottsman Harry E. Prottsman, 89, of Mount Pleasant, died 8:42 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 1988, at the Henry County Health Center, Mount Pleasant.
Born June 4, 1899, in Mount Pleasant, he was the son of William and Lucretia Miller Prottsman. He married Kathryn Pardall Dec. 18, 1929, in Franklin.
He was a farmer before retiring. He was a member of the Congregational Universalist Church, Mount Pleasant. He was an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and a charter member of the Legion of the Moose, receiving its Pilgrim Degree of Merit in 1980.
Surviving are his wife; two sons,James Harry Prottsman and Louis Eugene Prottsman, both of Mount Pleasant; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will follow a Loyal Order of the Moose service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant.
The service for Mr. Prottsman will be 11 a.m. Friday at theBeatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Charles U.
Tweed officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.A memorial has been established for the Mount Pleasant Public Library.
