MT. PLEASANT - Agnes Ogg, 81, Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, April 8, at the Henry County Health Center.
She was born Jan. 24, 1904 in Henry County, to John L. and Edith Jay Smith. She married Owen M. Ogg Aug. 5, 1950, at Mt. Pleasant.
She worked at the Henry County Memorial Hospital for 10 years, attended White Oak Church, and was a past member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Surviving: Her husband, Mt. Pleasant; one sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Blanche) Loeffler, Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Iliff Smith, Mt. Pleasant, and Leo and Lester Smith, both of Cedar Rapids.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Wednesday, Weir Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, the Rev. Ronald Kramer; Forest Home Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Henry County Rescue Squad.
