MT. PLEASANT — Mrs. Imo Ogg, 78, died suddenly here Friday afternoon while riding in a car.
The daughter of Peter and Margaret Bell Lee Courter, she was born Dec. 28, 1882, at Winfield. She was married to Sam Ogg on April 9, 1903. He died in 1949.
She is a life resident of Henry county.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Pearl) Strieby, Appleton, Wis.; Mrs. Jessie (Gladys) McKee, Burlington; Mrs. Merle (Mary) Gallagher, Arlington Heights, Ill.; Mrs. Bert (Frances) Jerrel, and Mrs. Miles J. (Wilma) Rukgaber, both of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Owen Ogg, Iowa City; 17 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Courter, and two brothers, Harlan and Oscar Courter, all of Winfield.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the R. K. Crane funeral home, the Rev. E. A. Mathews officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
