Frank James Miller, 64, Route 4, Mt. Pleasant, died 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1990, at Henry County Health Center.
He was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Rome, the son of Floyd L. and Kathryn Swailes Miller. June 9, 1951, in Salem, he married Dorothy Grippen.
He was a member of the Congregational-Universalist Church, Mt. Pleasant; Mt. Pleasant VFW Post 2561; and the Mt. Pleasant AARP chapter. He had retired from the Henry County Highway Department and the U.S. Army and Reserve.
Surviving are his wife; a brother, Marvin, Tipton; two nieces; three aunts; and two uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9 at the Congregational-Universalist church, with the Rev. Charles U. Tweed officiating. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. today at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant. Memorials have been established to the Congregational-Universalist Church or Dr. A.J.'s Cancer Research Fund.
