Francis McCreary, 88, died at the Resthaven Nursing Home Friday morning at 12:30.
Mr. McCreary had been a resident of the Mt. Pleasant vicinity the last 45 years and for many years operated farms of the local canning company. He was born near Pittsfield, Ill., on Dec. 30, 1864.
The only surviving relative in the vicinity is Mrs. Ed Roederer, a step-daughter.
Services will be held at the Crane Funeral Home Saturday morning at ten o'clock with the Rev. Herbert Clark officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home cemetery.
