Roscoe Hendricks

Roscoe M. Hendricks, 72, Route 4, died Thursday, May 30, 1985, at 11:40 a.m. at the Henry County Health Center.

He was born May 31, 1912, at Mt. Pleasant, the son of Alva and Grace Mullenix Hendrix. On Feb. 17, 1951, he married Phyllis Campbell at Kahoka, Mo.

He was a retired construction worker.

Surviving are his wife; four sins, Robert, Tulsa, Okla; Roxie, Fairfield; Richard and Wayne, both of Mt. Pleasant; one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Moore, New York; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Harold, Fairfield; Victor, Davenport;; and Edward Mt. Pleasant; three sisters, Mrs. Archie (Marie) Christner and Mrs. Dale (Darlene) Christner, both of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Pauline Marriott of Fairfield.

His parents and one brother, Raymond preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 1, at 1:30 p.m. at the Beatty Funeral Home. Father Paul C. Albers will officiate with interment in Forest Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the American Lung Association.
