Saturday, 27 March 1982Pansy Haines dies at 85
Pansy Ernestine Haines, 85, route 1, Fairfield, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday at Jefferson county Hospital, where she had been hospitalized for 2 1/2 weeks.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. D. O. Van Dyne officiating. Family visitation will be Monday. 7-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Mount Pleasant.
Pansy Haines was born Aug. 21, 1896, in Henry County and lived 52 years in Jefferson and Henry counties.
The daughter of V. and Regina Rudd, she married Archie William Haines on May 17, 1924, in Iowa City. He survives.
Mrs. Haines is also survived by two sons, Edward and Ernest, both of Fairfield, two daughters, Emma May Watson and Lola Evelyn Douglas, both of Lockridge.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. she was preceded in death by one daughter.
The family asks that memorials be given to the giver's choice.
