Edwin L. Gholson

Edwin L. (Jick) Gholson, 57, 508 Cedar Lane, Mt. Pleasant, died at approximately 1 p.m. Sunday July 1, 1984 of an apparent heart attack.

He was born Dec. 1, 1926 in Henry County, the son of Omar L. and Elsie Erickson Gholson. He had worked for the Henry County Road Maintenance Department for 20 years and the Iowa Wesleyan College Maintenance Department for five years. He was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include his stepmother, Neva Gholson of Bloomfield; one brother, Edward Gholson, Oakland Mills; three sisters, Mrs. Dale (Vera) Aicher, Mrs. Vernon (Martha) Leeper and Mrs. Leland (Dorothy) Robertson, all of Mt. Pleasant.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5 at the Forest Home Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Dameron officiating. Friends ........... last lines not available on their Web Site.
