Sheridan Messer Taken By Death

Had Been Ill For Over A Year

Rome --- Sheridan Messer died Monday evening at 6:10 at his home three miles north of Rome. He had been ill for a year and was bedfast much of that time. He was 69 years old.

Mr. Messer is survived by his wife and the following six children, Mrs. Ralph Sammons, Rome, Sheridan Messer, Jr., Trenton, Milo, Dwight, Louise and Joseph at home, three stepchildren, Mrs. Jesse Scarff, Mt. Pleasant, Virgil, California, and Harold, Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at the White Oak church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 conducted by Rev. Wipf. Interment will be in the cemetery next to the church. The body will be at the Cookes funeral home until time for the services.
