Death Takes Mrs. Robert Messer

Mrs. Robert Messer, 38, died at the Washington county hospital at 11:55 p.m. Monday, after an illness of the past week.

Priscilla L. Messer, daughter of Frank and Mary (Cooper) Wesely, was born Sept. 14, 1920 in Harrison county, Iowa

On April 30, 1946 at Ft. Madison, she was married to Robert Messer. The Messer home is on a farm in the White Oak community.

Surviving are her husband and two children, Jerry Dale and Janet Sue. Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wesely, Sr., of Mt. Pleasant; five sisters and five brothers, Paul Wesely of Barstow, Calif., Mrs. Bertha Shannon of Silver springs, Md., Joe Wesely of Memphis, Mo., Mrs. Dorothy Alexander of Oak Lawn, Ill., Mrs. Jean Henderson of Peoria, Ill., George Wesely and Merlin Wesely of Mt. Pleasant, route 3, Charles Wesely of route 2; Mrs. Jane Trueblood and Mrs. Genevieve Fetterman of Salem.

One brother, John, preceded her in death in 1932.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Trenton Methodist church, with Rev. Alton Koch, pastor of Faith Lutheran church of Mt. Pleasant, officiating.

Interment will be in White Oak cemetery.

The body is at the R.K. Crane Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
