Mrs. Leo Messer

Mrs. Leo (Vera) Messer, 79, died Monday, January 28 at 9:20 a.m. in her home in Rome.

She was born December 14, 1900, in Rome, the daughter of Oscar and Laura Scarff Fitch. On august 14, 1923 she married Leo Messer in Mount Pleasant. She was a life long resident of Rome.

Surviving is her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, six brothers and one sister.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 30 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, the Rev. Alfred Dietz, pastor of White Oak Missionary Church, officiating. Interment will be in White Oak Cemetery.

Friends may call as they desire at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established to the White Oak Cemetery Association.
