Mrs. Ralph W. (Ada) McClure, 91, of Mt. Pleasant died at 10:10 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 1976, at the Henry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 13, 1884, in Trenton Township of Henry County, the daughter of Oliver R. and Martha Haines Lane.
She was married to Ralph W. McClure on Jan. 13, 1904, in Henry County.
Mrs. McClure was a member of the White Oak United Missionary Church, the Bible Reader's class of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant and was a life long resident of Henry County.
Mrs. McClure is survived by two sons, Carlos and Robert McClure of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Elsie) Swailes and Mrs. Werner (Alice) Smith of Mt. Pleasant;17 grandchildren;38 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, John Lane of Mt. Pleasant and two sisters, Mrs. Jona (Elsie) Egli of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Roberta Granaas of Burbank, Calif.
Her parents, husband, two sons, one daughter, five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Alfred Dietz officiating. Interment will be in the White Oak Cemetery.
