Ina F. Manning, 82, of 302 S. Fourth St. died at 3:45 a.m. today, Jan. 11, 2001, at Nelson Nursing Home.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Rich George officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery, north of Rome.
Friends may call at the Behner Funeral Home from noon to 7 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to White Oak Cemetery Fund or to the Free Methodist Church.
Mrs. Manning was born Oct. 14, 1918, in Rome, the daughter of Edward and Anna Messer Sammons. She married Richard Orval Manning on July 6, 1942 in Lancaster, Mo. He died Nov. 27, 2000.
She had lived most of her life in the Fairfield area and was raised and educated in the White Oak community, north of Rome. She was employed as a grocery clerk for Cole's Grocery and Mayn's Supermarket before her retirement. She was a homemaker.
She was also a member of the Free Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and one daughter who died in infancy.
