Mrs. Raymond (Pauline) Ingwersen, 58, Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1978, at 6:57 p.m. at the Henry county Health Center, Mt. Pleasant.
She was born Dec. 30, 1919 at Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Sheridan and Walcom McMurren Nesser.
On Nov. 28, 1936 she was married to Raymond Ingwersen at Lancaster, Mo.
She was a member of the Bible Missionary Church of Mt. Pleasant.
She formerly owned and operated the Ingwersen Nursing Homes.
She is survived by her husband, Mt. Pleasant; parents of Mt. Pleasant; four sons, Randy Ingwersen, Gerald Ingwersen, Roy Ingwersen and Darrell Ingwersen, all of Mt. Pleasant; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Janet) Miller, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Charles C. (Delores) Wood, Malvern, Ark., and Mrs. David (Martha) Dickhoff, Rome; 20 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Darrell (Vera) Enze, Ottumwa, and Mrs. Mrs. Wayne (Joan) Staley, Lincoln. Neb.; and four brothers, Gilbert Messer, Burlington; Emmett Messer, Yarmouth; Karl Messer, Mt. Pleasant; and Melvin Messer, Mt. Pleasant.
A son, Roger, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at Bible Missionary Church on Friday, Dec. 1, 1978, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev Tony Ross and the Rev. Dwight Stevenson officiating.
Interment will be in White Oak Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Beatty Funeral Home, in Mt. Pleasant.
A memorial fund in memory of Mrs. Ingwersen has been established to the Bible Missionary Church.
Friends may call as they desire after 10 a.m. Thursday at the Beatty Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant.
