FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. ED TULK

Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Ed Tulk at the Crane Funeral Home, Saturday, Jan. 19, 1952 at 1:30 p. m. The last rites were in charge of the Rev. Martin Christensen of Trenton. The funeral music was played by Mrs. Max Stein who also accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Harvey Condon.

Lillian May Haines was born near Trenton, November 27, 1882, the daughter of John and Melissa Haines. For the past fifty years she had lived in the Richwoods vicinity where she and Mr. Tulk had observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary on March 13, 1951.

Mrs. Tulk, who died quite suddenly Tuesday evening, January 15, at her home, was 69 years, 1 month and 18 days at the time of her passing.

She is survived by three children: Edna Loreille, Costa Mesa, Calif., Florence Schuman, Winthrop, and Marvin Tulk, Long Grove; and four sisters, Claribel Haines, Jamestown, N. Y.; Martha Haines, Great Falls, Mont.; Mary Haines, Oskaloosa, and Ethel Bohi, Kansas City, Mo.; also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Richwood cemetery in Henry county. The following served as pallbearers: Leslie Scarff, Dale Christner, Jone Lane, Raymond Graber, Guy Messer, and Virden Hall.
