Mrs. John A. Scarff Taken By Death
Suffered Stroke Two Weeks Ago, Seriously Ill Since That Time

Mrs. John A. Scarff, 59, died at the home northwest of this city about 8:30 this morning after an illness of several months. She suffered a stroke about two weeks ago and had been seriously ill since that time and after suffering another stroke this week was unconscious most of the time. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Allender.

Surviving are five children, Hazel, Imo, and Merle at home and Mrs. Elmer Graber and Mrs. Howard Watts. One son, Oral, died two years ago. Mrs. Ida Allender, of this city, also survives.

The Scarff family has resided in the vicinity west and north of this city for many years and have many friends in that as well as other places in the county.
