Mrs. Pearl Morrow

Mrs. Pearl J. Morrow, 87, New London died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1980, at Mapleleaf Healthcare Center, Mt. Pleasant.

She was born Sept. 16, 1893 at Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of George and Eliza Haines Gholson. She married Harvey E. Morrow on Nov. 28, 1912, at Mt. Pleasant.

Mrs. Morrow was a member of the New London United Methodist Church and a charter member of the United Methodist Women's Club and Garden Club.

Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Irma Fye, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Ellison, Mediapolis; and Mrs. Doris Byers, Newton; one son Donald, Gold Hill, Ore.; nine grandchildren; one brother, George Gholson, Mt. Pleasant.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at Elliott Chapel, New London. The Rev. Hidetoshi Tanaka will officiate with interment in Richwood Cemetery.

A memorial has been established. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Chapel.
