Harvey Morrow

Harvey E. Morrow, 90, New London, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 1983, at the Mapleleaf Health Care Center, Mt. Pleasant.

He was born Oct. 31, 1983, at Trenton, the son of John and Susan Smith Morrow. He married Pearl Gholson on Nov. 28, 1912, at Mt. Pleasant. She died Nov. 4, 1980.

Mr. Morrow was a retired West Burlington Railroad Shop employee. He later worked on the New London Police Department and worked several years at New London Geo-Sonics.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Erma Fye, Mt Pleasant; Mrs. Bette Ellison, Mediapolis; and Mrs. Doris Byers, Newton; one son, Donald E. Morrow, Gold Hill, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services are pending at the Elliott Chapel, New London. Interment will be in the Richwood Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Richwood Cemetery.
