Mrs. Millie Morrow

Mrs. Millie Morrow, 87, died about 6 a.m. Saturday at the Kennedy Nursing Home. The daughter of George and Eliza Ann Haines Gholson, she was born Nov. 21, 1882 in Henry county, Iowa. She resided in Henry County and Mt. Pleasant all her life.

In Sept. 1901, she married Fred Morrow who predeceased her on Oct. 5, 1950.

Surviving are two sons and four daughters, Earl (Jake) and john, both of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Clifford (Velda) Blackstock, Chariton, Mrs. Charlie (Vera) Cornwell, Mrs. Norman (Ruth) Peterson, both of Glendale, Ariz., and Mrs. Richard (Gertrude) Shontz of Gold Hill, Ore.; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Harvey Morrow, New London, Mrs. Viola Anderson, Los Angeles, Calif., Joe Gholson, Weed, Calif., Omar Gholson, Bloomfield, and George Gholson of Rome.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 27 at the Crane, Ewart, Young Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Siemens, Pastor of the First Baptist church officiating.

Interment will be in Richwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home as they desire.
