Glen Raymond Haines

Glen Raymond Haines, 94, of Winfield, died Thursday, July 10, at the Sunrise Terrace Care Center, Winfield.

Born, April 17, 1892, in Beldon, Neb., he was the son of Jonathan and Cornelia Allender Haines. He married Anna Pearl Moxley Dec. 4, 1918, in Mount Pleasant; she died April 1, 1967.

He was a retired farmer and had attended Howes Academy, Mount Pleasant. He was an Army veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Winfield United Methodist Church, Good Faith Masonic Lodge No. 235, and the Winfield American Legion Post.

Surviving are four sons, William, Wapello, Kenneth, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Don and Dean, both of Winfield; two daughters, Mrs. Doris (Keith) Glover, Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. Erma (George) McCormick, Ollie; 21 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call as desired at McKasson-Honts Funeral Home, Winfield.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Winfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brown Garlock officiating. Graveside military and masonic rites will be in Richwood Cemetery, south of Trenton.

A memorial for the Sunrise Terrace Care Center has been established at the funeral home.
