Anna Haines

WINFIELD - Anna Pearl Haines, 70, Winfield, died Saturday at 1:15 p.m. at Memorial hospital, Mt. Pleasant.

She was born Dec. 26, 1896, in Hillsboro, the daughter of William and Lily May Davidson Moxley. Dec. 4, 1918, she married Glen Haines in Mt. Pleasant. She was a member of the Methodist church, WSCS, OES, and auxiliaries of the American Legion and VFW. She had lived in Winfield since 1932.

Surviving: The husband; four sons, William, Wapello; Kenneth, Las Vegas, Nev., Dean and Donald, Winfield; two daughters, Mrs. Keith Glover, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs George McCormick, Packwood; 19 grandchildren; a step-grandchild; four great grandchildren; two step-brothers, Rolla Shelman, Hillsboro; Courtney Shelman, Ottumwa; a half-brother, Orville Moxley, Mt. Pleasant.

The body is at the Barlon-McKasson funeral home, Winfield.
