Local Man Found Dead
----------

Charles Wesley Gholson, about 69, was found dead Friday afternoon in a cabin at the rear of the Ralph Montgomery property, 606 East Washington.

He had been seen Wednesday and it appeared probable that he had died Wednesday night, from natural causes, Coroner Hugh Dallner said.

Gholson lived alone in the cabin and after he had failed to get oil for his stove Friday, Fred Swanson, who resides nearby went to the cabin, looked in and saw him on the floor.

A doctor was summoned and he in turn called the coroner.
