Beverly Haines

Beverly C. Haines, 68, of Winfield, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 1997, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Born Feb. 5, 1929, in Muscatine, she was the daughter of Earland and Virgie Frye Schultheis. On Jan. 15, 1959, she married Donald Haines in Winfield.

Mrs. Haines was a homemaker. She was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church and a past member of Winfield OES.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Greg Ule and Jeff Haines, both of Winfield, and Tom Haines of Mount Union; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

The body of Mrs. Haines has been cremated. A private family burial will be at a later date in Richwood Cemetery in rural Trenton.
A memorial service for Mrs. Haines will be at 1030 a.m. Tuesday in Winfield United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jo Hary officiating. There will be lunch and visitation after the service.

Memorials have been established for Winfield United Methodist Church and Sunrise Terrace Care Center.
