Mrs. Ensminger Services Friday Afternoon At 2

Funeral services will be held here Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Winfield Presbyterian church for Mrs. John Ensminger, 51, who died in her sleep at her home in Mesa, Arizona Monday morning. The body is to arrive here this morning.

The Rev. C. E. Chandier will officiate.

Barton-McKasson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The Ensminger family lived here for several years during the time which Mr. Ensminger owned and operated the Winfield Produce.

Burial will be in Winfield-Scott Township cemetery. Mrs. Herman Rickey and Mrs. Maynard Hill, accompanied by Mrs. Keith Crawford, will sing at the services. Pallbearers will be William Ibbotson, Merle Linder, Ray Barber, Lindy Chrisinger, Ira Miller and Orra Rew.

Oma Frances Puckett, the daughter of Francis and Emma Puckett, was born June 26, 1906 in Kansas. She was married to John Ensminger Nov. 29, 1930 at Memphis, Mo. Since then they have lived in Bloomfield, Fairfield, Mt. Pleasant, Burlington, Winfield and Mesa, Arizona.

She is survived by her husband and five children: H. R. Hoadley of Keokuk, A. Dale Hoadley of Yreka, Calif., Mrs. Maxine Howard of Des Moines, Mrs. Dorothy Woline of Salem, and Karen Sue at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Earl Puckett of Washington state, Doris Puckett of Denver, Colo., two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Park of Wichita, Kansas, and Mrs. Oris Carter of Yakima, Washington and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

She was a member of the Eastern Star and Royal Neighbor lodges and of the Winfield Presbyterian church.
