Orval F. Cornwall

Orval Francis Cornwell, 62, of 406 Prairie, West Burlington, died in Burlington hospital Friday, Aug. 1.

Mr. Cornwell was a native of Indiana, and was born Sept 7, 1906, in Orange county, the son of William and Ora Evelyn Lockhart Cornwell.

He was married to Alma Rickey at Mt. Pleasant on July 6, 1929.

Mr. Cornwell was a member of the United Presbyterian church.

Surviving: The wife; sons Earl Cornwell, Toddville; Richard Cornwell, Prier Lake, Minn., and Donald Cornwell, Terre Haute, Ind.; daughters Mrs. Joyce Duncan, Burlington, and Karen Cornwell, at home; his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Cornwell, of West Burlington; brothers, Leslie Cornwell, Sioux City; Charles Cornwell, Phoenix, Ariz., and Lee Cornwell, Winfield; sisters Mrs. Mary Fortune, Mrs. Esther Hollenbeck, and Mrs. Juanita Kinney, all of West Burlington, and 12 grandchildren.

Services: Elliott-Lunning Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Bill Dean Norman; Winfield Scott Township cemetery.
