MRS. A.J. RILEY OF COPPOCK DIES

HEART AILMENT CAUSES DEATH OF WOMAN OF 64 YEARS TODAY

COPPOCK June 14 Mrs. A.J. Riley, 64, passed away at 7:30 this morning, after being seriously ill for a week. Her death resulted from heart trouble. Funeral arrangements were being made today.

Mrs. Riley was Anna Griffin daughter of John and Angeline (McKune) Griffin. She was born April 14, 1871, on a farm in Washington county just south of Coppock. She had lived in Coppock 22 years.

Her marriage to Andrew Jackson Riley was on Oct. 5, 1893, at the Washington Methodist parsonage. Mrs. Riley was a faithful member of the Cottonwood United Brethren church.

She leaves to mourn her death, her husband and one son, Cecil and daughter-in-law Lavina, who gave her excellent care in her last illness, and a sister, Mrs. A.M. Amrine of Merrimac. One son died in infancy.

RILEY FUNERAL AT COPPOCK TOMORROW

COPPOCK, July 15 -- Funeral services for Mrs. A. J. Riley will be held Sunday afternoon with a service at the Riley home at one o'clock and after that at the Cottonwood United Brethren church.
