Ruth E. Roth, 88, formerly of Olds, died at 8:55 p.m. Feb. 2, 1991, at Maple Leaf Health Care Center, Mount Pleasant.
Born Feb. 21, 1902, near Swedesburg, she was the daughter of Edward and Sophia Johnson Johnson. She married Dale Roth on June 30, 1926, in Swedesburg. He died Aug. 4, 1976.
She was a member of Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church and the church's LCW.
Surviving are one son, Glenn Roth, Olds; one brother, Donald L. Johnson, Olds; three sisters, Ruby Geers, West Point, Marjorie Hodges, Olds, and Helen Barnes, Asheville, N.C.; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Monday at Beatty Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant.
The funeral for Mrs. Roth will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Beatty Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Matthew Martins officiating. Burial will be in Swedesburg Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Maple Leaf Health Care Center or Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church.
