Glenn D. Roth, 71, Olds, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998 at Park Place Long Term Care Unit, Mt. Pleasant.

The funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield with the Rev. Philip Borleske officiating. Burial will be in Swedesburg Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Roth was born Nov. 13, 1926, at Wayland, the son of Henry Dale and Ruth Edna Louisa Johnson Roth. He married Lois J. Ross on June 24, 1950, at Swedesburg. She died March 28, 1992. He was a graduate of Olds High School and served in the Army during World War II. He worked as a truck driver most of his life, working for the Mt. Pleasant school system in recent years. He was a member of the Olds American Legion and Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving include one daughter, Patricia McDowell of Mt. Pleasant, and a special friend, Marcelline Messer of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
