Frank M. Farr

Frank Morris Farr, 79, Salem, died at University Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa, on Thursday, May 24, 1973, about 11 p.m.

He was born June 29, 1893 at Mt. Pleasant, the son of George Henry and Louise Wilson Farr.

On Dec. 18, 1915, he was married to Nell Graff at Mt. Pleasant.

Mr. Farr was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his widow, Nell; four sons, Roger, Napa, Cliff, Malcolm, Salem, Ray, Burlington and George of Salem; one sister, Mrs. Anna Spearman, Salem; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

His parents, two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 28, 1973, at 2 p.m. from the Beatty-Jennings Chapel in Salem with the Rev. Robert L. Matheus of St. Michael's Church, Mt. Pleasant, officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, May 27, at the Beatty-Jennings Chapel in Salem.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at Beatty-Jennings in Salem. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, southeast of Mt. Pleasant.
