Dale Richenberger

WAYLAND — Dale Richenberger, 50, died unexpectedly at his home here at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 20.

He was born Sept. 2, 1924, at Wayland, the son of Edward and Ruth Greene Richenberger. He married Virginia Christner at Troy, Kansas, on Nov. 10, 1946.

He served in the Marine Corps in World War II, was employed by the town of Wayland, and operated D & J Camper Sales here. He was a member of the Wayland Mennonite church, Masonic Lodge, Lions, the fire department, and was Worthy Patron of OES 494.

Surviving: The wife; two daughters, Michelle, at home, Mrs. Vickie Graber, Wayland; three brothers, Rex, Morning Sun, Russell, Quincy, Ill.; and Jerry, Clark Air Force Base, the Philippines; and one grandson.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Wayland Mennonite church, Rev. Nick Kassenbaum; North Hill cemetery. Masonic services 4:30 today at the Beatty-Jennings funeral home, Wayland. Memorials have been established with Wayland Mennonite church and the Wayland Rescue squad.
